A packaging release. The download on notada.app is now a disk image, so a fresh install lands in Applications, where updates can reach it. Nothing in the app itself changed.

Notada 1.0 September 12, 2026

The first release.

Notada is a page for your meeting notes, one day after another, with a list beside the text of every open todo and question, sorted by how long each has been waiting. Start a line with [] for a todo, ? for a question, or ! for a decision; end it with due:fri when you mean a date. Everything else is just text, stored exactly as written in one Markdown file in your Documents folder.

Close an item in the list and the line it came from closes with it. ⌘↩ closes the current line, ⇧⌘↩ drops it, ⌘L hides the list, and / opens the palette.

The notada command line reads the list as JSON and appends or closes lines, so an assistant of your choosing can work with your notes. The app itself calls no models and has no account.

Updates arrive through this window. Nothing else is sent anywhere.

Free for thirty days. Then $20, once.
